Peak to Peak is here to be a platform for our collective voices - to connect one another across classes, cohorts and years, to highlight our individual passions and the unique ways we contribute to our field and to our world. This is a platform to connect each other through the things that drive us, to keep us in touch with both our humanity as well as our passion for helping the world. Dear Readers,
Hope you all had a restful Spring break and congratulations on finishing out Winter quarter, arguably the most difficult quarter of the year! For those in their first year, welcome to the CFSP family and for those returning, welcome back to another Spring at Morgridge. As our lives seem to be shifting back to a feeling of normalcy, this school year has undoubtedly brought a medley of experiences. These experiences have challenged us to learn and grow as individuals and as a community, as some are just starting to open their eyes to this remarkable field while others have hit incredible benchmarks and accomplished things this year they may not have thought possible when they first set foot on campus. Much like this current weather, the experiences and demands that come with graduate schooling and within the field of school psychology, can be unpredictable and at moments, onerous. Yet, we continue to weather the storm and mold into the competent practitioners this field asks us to be, falling back on our ambitions to enrich the lives of those we get to serve and agencies within our own lives as foundation. Aligning with warm weather soon to come with Spring, this edition highlights amazing things students within our community have done within the field and in their own personal lives to provide warmth and care to others. This edition also highlights ways we can further give back to those in need while still finding balance in our lives.
You're almost at the finish line for the school year, best of luck the remainder of Spring Quarter!
Take care,
~ Mark Thomas, Peak to Peak Chief Editor
